No sale shall be invalidated by inaccuracies, defects, damaged goods, or incorrect descriptions.It is Bidder’s responsibility to inspect equipment prior to bidding.Connecticut sales tax of 6.35% will be charged on all sales.Sales Tax Exemption - Tax exempt buyers must present a current and valid exemption certificate at time of registration.Out of State Buyers and Exporters - Sales tax must be paid on all purchases. A sales tax refund will be issued once we are provided with a Bill of Lading from your transport company showing delivery out of state. Bill of Lading must be from a common carrier/third party transportation company and show the registered motor carrier number. PLEASE NOTE: You cannot pick up your own purchases as it is deemed by the State of Connecticut that you took personal possession at the point of sale and therefore are liable for all state taxes assessed on that item(s).To support sales tax exemption status, Buyer is responsible for providing Auctioneer with any necessary documentation (Bill of Lading, etc.) no later than ten (10) days from the date of sale. If Buyer has an exemption certificate that was not submitted at the time of sale, Buyer has ten (10) days from the date of sale to submit a valid exemption certificate in order for Auctioneer to process a refund. After ten (10) days, Buyer will need to submit any refund request directly to the state for which the original sales tax was collected and remitted by Auctioneer.Bidding disputes will be settled at the sole discretion of Auctioneer and Auctioneer may put the disputed lot up for sale again to be resold to the highest bidder of the disputing parties. The Auctioneer’s decision is final.Purchases become the responsibility of the high bidder immediately upon acceptance of his bid. They shall be and remain at the risk of the Buyer. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to insure his purchases immediately.Payment - Acceptable U.S. funds are Cash, Bank or Certified Check, Business or Personal Check w
